    Using independent thinking and judgment as well as assist engineers in the design and development of power supplies.


    • Interpret electrical design requirements, develop specifications and schematics, conduct testing and record data measurements as needed
    • Provide for compliance with specifications, tolerances, safety factors and agency approvals
    • Assist in the design and development of test support equipment
    • Assist in PCB layout as well as mechanical and thermal design
    • Evaluate customer applications and resolve customer problems as relates to the company’s products
    • Support pre-production and release process of the designs in compliance with ISO requirements
    • Support Design Validation Testing

    • BSEE; required
    • 2 – 5 years in an electrical/electronic engineering environment with experience in analog circuitry
    • DCDC Converter Design/Modification experience
    • Knowledge of magnetic components
    • Knowledge of switch-mode power supplies
    • Knowledge of isolated and non-isolated designs
    • Knowledge of advanced control loop designs
    • Thorough understanding of safety issues with regard to working with electrical current and high voltages.
    • Knowledge of switch mode power supplies, feedback loop theory, and basic AC and DC analysis.
    • Excellent math and analytical skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Working knowledge of PC software including Microsoft Excel and Word
