    Number of positions: 1 (possibly 2)

    Travel: Minimal


    • The successful candidate will coordinate, administer and provide technical direction to less experienced engineers
    • Research new developments and technology and make recommendations to management on their feasibility for Company operations
    • Will monitor projects and recommend modifications to increase operating efficiency and any regulatory requirement
    • Interface with internal and external customers, outside agencies and regulatory authorities
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of new developments and technology

    • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Five (5) years engineering experience in utility and/or energy industry
    • ETAP: Power System Analysis, Transmission Lines, Voltage Drop & Fault Current Calculations
    • FERC, NERC and/or WECC Regulatory Requirements in Transmission Compliance
    • Power Electronics Applications & Design with SIMULINK & MATLAB Design Tool
    • Power System Analysis – Systems Design & Analysis
    • NEC (National Electrical Code), Power System Protection & Control
    • NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Associations) Enclosure Codes
    • In-depth knowledge of energy analysis and engineering applications
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
