
Overview
Our client offers the highest quality charging solutions, power management modules and backup power products in the market today. As the Business Development Manager, you will lead and manage the company’s efforts in expanding the market presence and sales of electric vehicle (EV) charging
infrastructure products. Will have a deep understanding of the EV industry, a strong network within
relevant market segments, and a proven track record of driving business growth.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, partners, government agencies, and industry associations.
Understand client's needs and requirements, and tailor solutions to meet their specific EV charging infrastructure needs.
Partnerships and Alliances:
Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance market reach and strengthen the company's position in the EV charging ecosystem.
Collaborate with partners to develop joint product initiatives, co-branded offerings, and other value-added propositions.
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competition in the EV charging industry.
Develop a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate new markets, expand existing ones, and achieve revenue targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals and strategies.
Project Management:
Coordinate project implementations, working closely with internal teams to ensure successful deployment of EV charging infrastructure solutions.
Clear identification and documentation of product specifications for new product categories, platforms and key component needs to be shared with cross functional teams
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure customer satisfaction.
Regulatory and Compliance:
Stay up to date ustry regulations, codes & standards, incentives, and policies related to EV charging infrastructure.
Work closely with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with local, regional, and national requirements.
The Engineering Manager is capable of being a functioning member of the Integration Engineering Team in their respective discipline, potentially the Lead Engineer within that discipline.

Qualifications
BA / MBA; required
Technical degree: BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is helpful but not required
Knowledge of Power Conversion (i.e. UPS; ACDC); EV Charging and/or Battery Backup Products; required
5+ years’ Business Development experience; required
Market / Competitive Analysis experience; required
Special Pricing & Branding experience; helpful
Project Management; required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a MUST
