Responsibilities
Serve as FAE for Bay Area Networking, Datacenters and/or IT Industries
Work with Asian engineering teams for NPI programs, facilitating technical communications, on-site testing and debugging.
Work with customers to identify new RFQ opportunities, to understand and communicate customers product roadmap to engineering teams.
Support to resolve field issues at customer sites, including first-level FA, FW and HW rework, etc.
Capture new design-wins
Cross competitive products
Prioritize opportunities according to dollar potential, technical requirements, relative difficulty, customer importance, etc.…
Identify future product and technology trends and report them to Marketing.
Visit customer and solve existing application issues and problems
Coordinate and present latest product information to customers and staff in the assigned area
Assist with translation of data sheets / web materials / promotional items where appropriate
Write technical articles for the electronics industry publications and press releases
Qualifications
BSEE; MSEE preferred
2+ years power supply design (ACDC, DCDC or UPS) or power supply application engineering
Require power supply design experiences, familiar with power factor correction (PFC) circuit, isolated D/D circuit, voltage and current control, analogy circuitry and basic digital control concept.
Require Hands-on testing, debugging capabilities. Familiar with basic lab equipment, such as AC sources, DC sources, DC load, V-meters, oscilloscopes etc.
Bi-Lingual English/Mandarin preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer literate
Excellent presentation skills
Travel: As required
