Overview
The ideal candidate would have existing relationships with key decision makers at Tier - 1 OEM/ODM’s, and could utilize their knowledge, expertise, and communication skills to efficiently propel company initiatives.
Responsibilities
Establish/maintain relationships with both existing and new customers to acquire new business per company objectives. (i.e., Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, Rivian, Lucid Motors, etc..)
Promote the company’s capabilities to customers and prospects.
Discern and communicate customer technical, commercial and schedule needs and expectations.
Monitor and report on market and product trends.
Satisfy customer requests and expectations (and company requests and expectations) through frequent communications with PM, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality groups.
Provide timely and detailed reports of project and business activity.
Conference calls with Asia required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
3+ years prior sales experience serving/selling PSU’s to OEM/ODM hardware providers
Understand the merchant power supply market - including competitors, major customers, cost, and product trends.
Understand typical development process including development phases/validations, safety. and factory transfer.
Familiar with typical product launch requirements including material and capacity planning.
Experience selling into the enterprise segment and knowledge of enterprise systems and related power requirements a plus.
Would guide the product cycle from RFQ/award, development and into production - including participation in pricing and contract negotiations, and development/launch meetings/conference calls to monitor issues and actions.
Tenacious in overcoming obstacles and meeting objectives.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Computer skills – MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe acrobat.
